Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Seoprog (the "Service", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to keep much of your working data in your own browser.

2. What information do we collect?

• Account information: your email address, used to create and secure your account and to send sign-in links and essential service emails. Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase.
• Usage records: when you use built-in AI features, we record usage metadata tied to your account - such as the number of requests, approximate token counts, web-search counts, timestamps, and the resulting cost - so we can apply your plan's fair-use allowance.
• Subscription information: paid plans are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. Creem handles your payment and card details; we do not see or store card numbers. We receive limited information needed to grant access, such as your subscription status and the email address tied to your subscription.
• Content you provide: URLs, keywords, brand names, and similar inputs you enter to run checks. Much of this - including the rankings you track and your saved settings - is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to our servers unless a feature needs it, for example to fetch a page you ask us to check or to generate an AI result.
• Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP address and request information to deliver and protect the Service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the Service, authenticate you, apply plan allowances, process and support subscriptions, respond to your messages, and maintain and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. AI features and what is sent

When you use AI features, the relevant content - such as a page's text or the details you enter for a visibility check - is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a result, and a live web search may be performed as part of that. We send only what is needed to produce the result. All AI output is text only; the Service does not generate images, audio, or video. Neither we nor our AI provider use your content to train AI models. If you choose to use your own AI provider key, those requests are made directly with your key and are not metered by us.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf:

• Supabase - authentication and storage of account and usage records (hosted in the EU).
• Cloudflare - hosting, content delivery, and the proxy used to fetch pages you ask us to check.
• Creem - payment processing as Merchant of Record.
• Anthropic - AI model processing for AI features.

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its part of the Service.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA - for example, AI processing may take place in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

7. Data retention

We keep account and usage records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data stored locally in your browser remains until you clear it. You can ask us to delete your account data, as described below.

8. What are my privacy rights?

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at hello@seoprog.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also clear locally stored data at any time from within your browser.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use only what is necessary to run the Service - for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice where reasonable.
